Burglar Shatters Sliding Door To Break Into Warren Home: Police | Warren, NJ Patch

WARREN, NJ — A home burglary in Warren is under investigation after someone shattered the back sliding door to get inside, said police.

On Monday at around 8:30 p.m., a home burglary was reported on Carriage Court in Warren Township, said Warren Police.

The suspects shattered a rear sliding door to get inside. After breaking in, the suspects went through various rooms of the house, said police.

At this time, stolen items are still being inventoried by the residents and an active investigation is being conducted by the Warren Township Police Department.

"We urge all residents to make sure their homes are well lit, all doors are locked, to set your alarm anytime you leave the house (if available), and monitor your camera system regularly (if available)," said Warren Township - NJ Police Department.

This is the second time in about two weeks that someone has broken into a Warren home through a sliding door.
