FeneTech managing director and former CEO Ron Crowl was named managing director of Compusoft + 2020’s Doors, Windows, and Glass Vertical Group. Crowl began his new role on June 6 and will report to the company’s president and COO David Tombre.

2020 acquired FeneTech in September 2021, and merged with Compusoft in December 2021.

Crowl was one of the founding partners of FeneTech in 1996, becoming president and CEO in 1999. From the company’s formation in 1996 until today, Crowl has taken the company from a small startup to a global, best-in-class leader in the ERP software arena, building a team of over 100 employees in the U.S. and Europe, according to the announcement.

“I am extremely excited to take this new position. My team knows how passionate I am about the business and the energy I put into it to be successful for the company’s sake,” he said. “In my new role, I believe I can bring together the four entities that make the complementary verticals of the Doors, Windows, and Glass business unit and rally their existing customers and prospects. Our shared goal is to create a powerful one-stop software shop for the industry we serve.”
