An adorable video showing the moment a golden retriever befriended a window cleaner has gone viral online, having surpassed 33.4 million views.

In the footage, which was shared to TikTok by an account called Pawbrey, we can see the large fluffy dog standing in the living room of an apartment as a man on a harness lowers himself into view. This causes the pet to begin excitedly barking.

The cleaner starts soaping up the glass and scraping away the grime as the pooch watches on, wagging her tail.

Next, which is the cutest part of the whole scene, the dog is then seen running over with a fish-shaped toy in her mouth to offer to her new friend behind the glass.

Pawbrey captioned the adorable footage, which can be viewed here, writing: "When she brought him the toy @pawbrey #doglover #dogs #pet #fypシ #doglove #goldenretriever."

The clip has gained lots of traction online since it was shared on October 4, having attracted more than 6.5 million likes.

Many people also rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on the adorable footage.
